What does procrastination cost?

When I was heading to that url, I was happy that someone finally put a lot of effort into the study of procrastination costs and published it on the web. Not really. They are just using a catchy title to show people that the later they start saving, the more they will loose on the interest.

That's not exactly what I would call the cost of procrastinating, but well, to be fair, I can recognize there must be some people out there having a problem of putting off the implementation of their savings and investing strategies. Time management forums launched

Time management forums were launched. Well, pre-launched. My only question is, is browsing time management forums procrastination, or productive behaviour. Case by case, probably. Maybe procrastination forums will be experimentally launched on Procrastination help soon as well. Time will tell.

Children's procrastination

Parents always want the best for their child. But even with the best intention, they very often manage to introduce even more problems instead of helping their child. That's especially the case when it comes to procrastination, one of the most misunderstood problems some people are experiencing in their lives.

Doreen Nagle doesn't come with any earth shattering news in that matter, but her small "Stop your children's procrastination by getting organized" article offers some basic yet valuable information. "Stop rescuing your children" is perhaps the most important message there.

I would add one more. Don't command or manage your children too much, help them develop their own decision making skills instead.

If you are procrastinating browsing thru many classifieds sites, at least spend your time on those better ones. One of the best I have seen in a long time is this free classifieds site : browsing and searching through some 1439707 classifieds as of today is very comfortable and quick on the DC classifieds site.

And remember - if you happen to sell or buy something, it doesn't count as procrastination - it is a time spent well :).

last will procrastination

Strange thing - one kind of procrastination I have never considered nor heard about before - procrastinating to have your last will done and in order. At least, so they say in the Star Telegram:
