I've recently started rereading FEELING GOOD( the book, not the work book by the same name ) by Dr. David Burns.

It is a how to book for do it yourself cognitive therapy. Cognitive therapy has been proved to be as effective as drugs for both depression and insomnia.

The book has an entire chapter called "do nothingism" which explains the major cognitive inspirations for procrastination and what to do about them.
It seems to be pretty useful.

The book is old enough that you should be able to find it in many libraries and used book venues.

HTH

I have just acquired the book today, so I hope to post some useful stuff from it as time allows.
